Artists Receive BBMA Nominations

Christian artists promoted by Premier Productions and at Premier Festivals events have received nominations in the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.For the category of “Top Christian Song,” Building 429 (“We Won’t Be Shaken”), Sidewalk Prophets (“Help Me Find It”), Chris Tomlin (“Whom Shall I Fear”), Matthew West (“Hello, My Name Is”) and Mandisa (“Overcover”) have been nominated.For the category of “Top Christian Album,” nominees are: Skillet (“Rise”), Third Day (“Miracle”), Chris Tomlin (“Burning Lights”), Alan Jackson (“Precious Memories: Volume II) and the “WOW HITS 2014.”For  “Top Christian Artist,” nominees are Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, TobyMac, Skillet and Mandisa.The 2014 awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 18 at 8 p.m. ETBillboard Music Awards finalists are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, VEVO, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music. These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of March 11, 2013 through March 9, 2014.  The “2014 Billboard Music Awards” is produced by Dick Clark Productions.  Allen Shapiro and Mike Mahan are Executive Producers.  Larry Klein and Barry Adelman are Producers.
