David Phelps Concert in Fayetteville to Benefit Those Affected by Hurricane Matthew

Nashville, TN – The unmistakable sound of multi-Dove and Grammy Award-winning recording artist David Phelps will be featured in Fayetteville, NC, on Saturday, November 5, at the Fayetteville Community Church. This exciting concert event begins at 7:00pm. 

At this exciting event, Phelps, along with event promoter Premier Productions and the Fayetteville Community Church will be joining forces with the local chapter of the American Red Cross to benefit the victims of Hurricane Matthew. Concert attendees are invited to bring canned foods, as well as bottled water, which will be distributed to those in need.

“I was so saddened to hear of the devastation experienced by our friends in Eastern North Carolina,” Phelps stated. “We are counting on all of our friends attending this special evening in Fayetteville to help us out and help so many who are in need. We hope they will bring all the canned food and bottled water they can possibly place in their vehicles and help us give back to so many who are going through such a difficult time.” 

Phelps went on to state that his desire is that those who attend the evening will be uplifted and encouraged by the message in the music. “We realize that many of the people who will be attending the concert in Fayetteville have really been tested over the past few weeks, and our desire is that something that is said or sung during this evening will be an encouragement and a blessing to those who are still hurting and still experiencing the after -effects of this devastating storm.”

Perhaps best known as the powerful tenor for the multiple Grammy and Dove Award-winning Gaither Vocal Band, Phelps has emerged as a leading voice in contemporary Christian music. He has been winning the hearts of audiences all over the world for more than two decades.
