Anthony Mossburg Wins Pointfest Talent Competition!

Anthony Mossburg, a singer and songwriter from Parkersburg, WV, is the winner in the Pointfest Talent Competition.You can read more about him on his Artist Page. After fans, friends, family and the general public narrowed down the choices to their top five, Premier’s panel of judges ranked their favorites from 1-5. A No. 1 ranking received 5 points, No. 2 got 4 points and so on. The artist with the most points is the winner.Anthony Mossburg received 13 out of a possible 15 points. AMP came in second place with 11 points,  Kristin Rader with 9 points, Praise-Apella with 7 and Altars of Athens with 5.Judges for this competition were Royal Tailor, who will be on stage at Pointfest; Dan Rauter of Paradigm Media, whose clients include such artists as KJ-52,  David Crowder and Kutless; and Richard Young, director of Premier Festivals, who selects all the artists who perform at the festivals.The competition was stiff for the 2012 contest with talent running very deep. Although all the judges ranked Anthony Mossburg as either their first or second choice, Kristin Rader and AMP also received a No. 1 ranking each.We congratulate each of these up and coming artists and wish them all the best in their future ministries.Tickets are still available for Pointfest, which features Skillet, RED, Francesca Battistelli, Royal Tailor, Jamie Grace, KJ-52 as Emcee and Bob Lenz as speaker.
