Dear Friends,
Happy Spring!! We are home from the “Karen Kingsbury and Family” tour, where we met with nearly 10,000 of you and had the most amazing time!! I even learned how to sleep on a bus!! Thanks for praying for us!
But now that we’re back, we are truly enjoying a hundred vibrant shades of green that make up Nashville this time of year. Trees and shrubs that were cut back during the winter now bloom with new life. God’s fingerprints are everywhere. Truly, we can learn so much from the new life of spring!
And with all the new life around us, I have my own NEWS!! I heard you! Yes, today I announced that I will be writing a collection of four new Baxter Family books!! The first – A Baxter Family Christmas – will come later this year.
Pre-orders for the book will begin July 1. Stay tuned for more information! On that note, please continue to pray that Roma Downey will have clarity on which network to partner with as The Baxter Family TV series comes to television. I promise to keep you posted along the way!

Also … this might be a good time to make sure you have the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries (HMM) channel – which is the only place you’ll find my upcoming movie Karen Kingsbury’s A Time To Dance. I’ll be adding it to our list of channels tomorrow! A Time to Dance will premiere on the HMM channel Sunday, May 15 at 9/8c. I can’t wait for you to see this film. It follows the book … and it stars Jennie Garth. I watched a preview of the film last week and my heart was captured from the opening scene. You’re going to love it!
